John Deutsch has been a vital component in the exponential growth of numerous healthcare IT and Internet companies over the last ten years. He has benefitted immensely from a unique mix of professional experiences, boasting a strong background in both marketing and technology.

John deems the emerging field of healthcare technology a significant opportunity to advance today’s healthcare. He is dedicated to delivering solutions to physicians that translate into a greater overall efficiency and a higher level of care. John has worked in the development of four Electronic Medical Record/Patient Portal software solutions and was the co-founder of EMR Experts, an EMR software consulting firm which has helped hundreds of healthcare practices convert to an EMR solution.

John is the current CEO of New Wave Enterprises, LLC, an Internet marketing and web development firm based in San Diego, CA. He oversees the rapid growth of the company by directing upper management and by developing strategic partnerships with other vendors.

Christian Estrada is in his early 30s and was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After finishing high school, he traveled to San Diego and - like many people - decided to stay. He enrolled in the Art Institute of California where he got his bachelors degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. He took a strong interest in web design and moved to Los Angeles, were he worked as a web designer/developer for two years.

After seven years of living in the US, he decided it was time to go back to Argentina; and he has been developing websites for businesses ever since. One of these clients was John Deutsch, and Medical Web Experts was born. Christian is currently the art director at Medical Web Experts and handles many of the company's operations.

Besides surfing, he enjoys tennis, playing guitar, kung fu, skydiving, and tasting good wines.

Born in Vancouver, Canada, Candice studied Economics at the University of British Colombia. After graduating, she spent a few years traveling and living in several different countries, including Korea, Panama, Argentina, Costa Rica and Germany. Through her travels and experiences, she managed to pursue her love of surfing and of the World Wide Web.

After working at a large Web and marketing company in Vancouver, spending several years doing freelance Internet and marketing work, and studying computer programming in her spare time, Candice joined the Medical Web Experts team as a Client Manager and Marketing Director. She enjoys the challenges of her work – from finding new ways to connect doctors and patients via the Web to staying on top of the latest Google trends.

Ryan was born and raised in Washington, DC. He graduated from College of Charleston with a BS in International Business. Ryan has traveled extensively and studied in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Dubai and various countries in South America. He started with MWE in 2010 and works closely with clients as the Director of Business Development.

Ryan now lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina and enjoys the food, culture, and dabbling in the night life from time to time. He is an avid sports fan and supports the Washington Redskins, through thick and thin. He predicts a Super Bowl trophy within the next three years.

In the fall of 2010, Ron’s passion was born after spending nearly 20 years of his career as a Finance & Accounting Executive. That's when a prospective client who first told him about the world of patient portals and telemedicine – and he immediately got it.

Ron did an extensive amount of research on the subject for months – seeing who the players were in the marketplace, how far along they had developed their solution, and understanding the challenges. He soon landed a position at a leading telemedicine company as a Senior Vice President, presenting Tele-Triage & Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solutions to self-funded corporations, state medicaid divisions, and hospitals. He now lives his passion every day at MWE by providing patient portals and telemedicine solutions to prospective clients.

Yanina has been working in IT since graduating from high school in 2003. She is currently studying Business Informatics at the University of Buenos Aires. Yanina loves working with programmers and likes all kinds of “techie” stuff. She speaks German, English and Spanish fluently.

When she was 16, Yanina took part in a school exchange program in Germany and had the experience of traveling through Europe with her friends. She loves traveling and is very interested in other cultures. One day she would like to move to a quiet neighborhood and escape the city scene.

Federico was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has a degree in Flight Dispatching from the Instituto Nacional de Aviación Civil. He got his first computer when he was six years old, and ten years later he started developing web applications. In 2009, he started working at New Wave Marketing, where he is now the Director of Technology. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, cooking and attending rock concerts. He is an Open Source enthusiast.
