How to Use Social Networking to Market a Medical Practice

Medical social networks are one of the best new internet tools to market something.   Once you have your professional website, you should consider medical social media as a good way of promoting it.
In sites like Facebook or Twitter you can establish a direct relationship with your patients and target those on your geographic area of work.Plus you get some referrals of real patients and if they follow you, their followers will see the referrals and that might help on getting more patients. You could also analyze your competitors and research the demographic areas that you service, what your patients need, what kind of lifestyle they have, and on the other side, interacting with your patients will make them trust you more, feel more connected, and take responsibility with your practice. Linkedin is a professional social network that allows you to contact with other professionals around the country.  You could also participate in some medicals groups and events of your interest.
You will probably say, “I don’t have time for all this social networking” – but there’s no need to get stressed.  You could always link all your accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and many others), so you could update one network and they will all update together.
Last, but not least, remember to add all your links to all your networks, and most important, to your website.
